Expectation is the evil feeling

One with no expectation is equal to the God......I am sure someone would have quoted this before but I started realizing in my recent days.

I have mentioned in my previous blogs about the expectation that we have and build through out our life time. But in this blog I would like to share about the expectation on human beings who are related to us and around us. This could be our friends, colleagues, parents, siblings, wife, kids, all the other relatives and even acquaintances. We are such a complicated being on this earth. We have all these ideologies and opinions on everything and everybody. When things happen against these, we tend to lose our control and react on people even to our loved ones.

Why is this happening? Expectation based on the opinions and ideologies about the individuals around us. What if we don't expect anything from the people around us? We may enjoy and accept them as who they are.

If we are happy based on their actions, then it is bonus experience. If not, no hard feelings....Yes, I know it is easy to say. But the problem is once you start enjoying our happy moments, we start building expectation on the person. Crazy feeling...but that is true.

I think that is when we need to keep reminding ourselves that nothing is certain and you cannot expect people to think and do what you want or like them to do.
